Dror at the Guggenheim
Dror was invited to participate in the Guggenheim’s upcoming exhibition, Contemplating the Void: Interventions in the Guggenheim Museum. Keep an eye out early next year for more on Dror’s creation. The exhibit will open to the public on February 12th, 2010.

Dror at the MAD
Dror’s piece “Left and Right” was purchased by the MAD's director, Holly Hotchner, at the museum’s Gala Fundraiser, Paperball 2009. The event celebrated the Museum’s one-year anniversary. Various designers and creatives were invited to create installation pieces or artwork out of paper to be sold at the gala that took place on October 14th. The sales of the works went to benefit the museum’s educational programs. “Left and Right” shows two versions of the same crumbled piece of paper presented side by side, forcing us to compare the value and integrity of each representation.

Dror at Design Museum Holon
The Design Museum Holon, in Holon Israel, will open in early 2010. The museum, designed by Ron Arad, aims to build a private collection of international and Israeli design. Included in their permanent collection will be two of Dror’s
Pick Chairs.

For Art Basel/Design Miami 2009,
Dror debuted a one-of-a-kind Peacock Chair at “Limited Forever,” an exhibit at Cappellini’s Miami Flagship Showroom. He took one of the very first pre-production prototype of the Peacock chair for Cappellini and reset it as an open canvas by painting it white. This process allowed him to "redline" the imperfections of the chair that needed to be realized for the final production piece.

Dror also debuted Volume.MGX, a lamp by .MGX by Materialise in conjunction with Moss Gallery. The lamp was on sale at the Moss stand in Design Miami. When illuminated, the beauty of the complexity of the shape is highlighted through the various effects the light has on the hundreds of squares that make up the collapsible form.

We recently added a selection of original press images of our work to our Facebook page. For a new angle on our Peacock Chair and images from the studio, take a look at what the New York Times, Case da Abitare and I.D. Magazine recently shot, here.
--We're sorry to see I.D. magazine fold; its contribution to the industry will be missed.

On November 1st, Dror joined thousands of others in running the ING New York City Marathon, and accomplished his goal of breaking 4 hours. The experience of a lifetime, he recommends it to anyone, and may even run it again in the future!

Thanks to all for your support this year!   We wish you Happy Holidays and the best for 2010.
