Dror is currently looking to fill the following positions:

Design Architect

Dror’s multidisciplinary approach to design takes a fresh look at every design challenge, from reinventing the sneaker for Puma to designing an island in Abu Dhabi. Behind the scenes, the architecture department at Dror has been working on a series of large-scale confidential architecture projects and is now seeking an imaginative, energetic, hard-working person to help with the production, direction, and management of these projects. The ideal candidate has exceptional renderings skills, is a passionate self-starter, and works fast and efficiently with little direction. 

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong design sensibility, with excellent technical and computer skills
  • 5-10 years of project management experience, with a background in several large-scale project
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must have ability to assist or run all phases of a project from Schematic Design through reviewing and commenting on Construction Administration
  • Comfort in working independently; demonstrates fluency and professionalism in dealing with a variety of high-end clients as well as vendors
  • CAD expertise required, Photoshop, Sketch Up, Rhino and/or 3Dstudio. Knowledge of parametric software is a plus
  • Healthcare experience preferred

Product intern

Dror’s internship program provides design students or recent graduates practical work experience in product design. Interns will be working closely with division heads on client as well as research and development projects. Interns will be exposed to a variety of roles inherent in a bustling, up-and-coming design studio and will gain invaluable work experience in all facets of the design process. They will be exposed to and involved in all disciplinarians of the studio (product, graphic, architectural and interior design). 

Requirements for product design internship:
- A strong ability to communicate ideas through sketching and 3D rendering
- Experience and comfort in a workshop setting
- Knowledge of Solidworks, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Basic knowledge of materials and processes
- A passion for design and a willingness to learn

Graphic intern

Architectural Engineer Intern

Our architectural Engineering internship suits students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Structural Engineering, who would like to experience the practice of architectural engineering within a holistic design setting. In addition to assisting on building projects in the US and abroad, interns will get a chance to participate in other design disciplines that together contribute towards the total design of an environment. Interns will work under close supervision, executing tasks assigned by Dror Benshetrit and/or our project manager. The focus will be on preparing neat and organized structural calculations related to our new building system: QuaDror (www.quadror.com).

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications: 

-          Knowledge of Auto CAD and 3D modeling a must.
-          Minimum of 3 years completed in Bachelor’s program
-          Sketch Up, Photoshop, and Rhino with working knowledge of rendering programs.
-          Strong organizational skills

Admin intern

Description:
Provide daily support for Dror’s administrative team, gain hands on knowledge of the design world, press and public relations, and work alongside one of the industries top designers.

- Prioritize workload and be available and flexible to assist with projects and work with other studio staff when needed. 
- Be proactive in all aspects of work. 
- Cultivate and apply strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Provide courteous and accurate phone coverage; review and manage correspondence and e-mails; handle mailing and messenger services. 

Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
- Knowledge of contemporary business procedures, or eagerness to gain these skills 
- 1 to 2 years of previous administrative assistant experience is a plus 
- Strong communication skills 

We are looking for an individual with strong initiative and energy. This position is ideal for a college student with at least one year completed or recent college grad.
