Licensed Architect

We are currently looking for a talented, dynamic, and collaborative Licensed Architect to join our team. Candidates must possess a strong design sensibility, excellent technical skills, and exhibit a strong ability to manage people and deadlines. The candidate must have at least 5 to 8 years of proven experience in all phases of the design process: conceptual, detail and design development, construction documents, construction administration and specifications.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
· Experience in mixed-use projects and large-scale developments is preferred
· NY Registered architect
· AIA a plus
· Highly developed skills in client communications, contract documentation, project scheduling, team leadership,
  building design, technical detailing, consultant coordination, construction administration
· Comfortable working independently; demonstrates fluency and professionalism in dealing with
  a variety of high-end clients as well as vendors
· Experience in coordinating and assembling detailed and thorough drawing packages from concept
  through construction administration stages
· Proficiency CAD, Rhino and Adobe is required, Revit preferred
· Fluent in written and spoken English. Must be eligible to work in the USA

Marked by proven experience successfully brokering strategic relationships within the design and professional services industries—as well as with thought leaders, influencers, and leading innovators—the ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, highly driven, and wholly dedicated to the evolution of the firm.

This is a senior level position in a growing firm. Knowledge of and robust connections in the design industry are essential.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
· Proven track record of successfully securing new project opportunities beyond standard RFP research
· Solid network of contacts in the architecture, real estate, and product design worlds
· Strong understanding of brand positioning in the design space
· Excellent communication skills
· Deep appreciation for contemporary creative culture and design thinking

Architecture Intern

The studio at Dror is seeking talented and motivated interns to assist with the development of a variety of architectural design projects. Interns will work closely with division heads on research, presentation materials, and development of the overall design. Interns will be exposed to a variety of roles inherent in a busy and growing design studio and will gain invaluable work experience. The ideal candidate has strong design and graphic skills, can think critically and creatively, and is a positive self-starter who works quickly with little direction.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong design sensibility
· Strong rendering skills
· Strong model-making skills
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Team player
· Comfort in working independently; demonstrates fluency and professionalism in dealing with a variety of high-end clients as well as vendors
· Proficiency in CAD, Rhino and Adobe is required; SketchUp, 3D Studio Max and knowledge of parametric software is a plus.

Marketing & Development intern

Dror is seeking a highly motivated, highly creative Marketing & Development Intern to join our growing team in Soho, New York. This individual will work closely with the Communications Director and Studio Manager to support the practice’s marketing and development efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess a precise attention to detail and can-do attitude, eager to accomplish projects big and small. Daily tasks will include: researching industry trends, potential partners and speaking engagements, analyzing competitions, developing social media content, drafting marketing copy, and updating reports and the firm’s contact database. Beyond these responsibilities, this individual will also contribute to the overall efficiency of the studio by assisting the Studio Manager with daily operations. They be an energetic self-starter, eager to develop and help implement strategies for growing Dror’s reach.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
· Knowledgeable about contemporary art, design, and architecture
· Familiarity with relevant museums, galleries, and institutions, both locally and abroad
· Solid understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and critical thinking
· Extremely resourceful—you can Google your way to any answer
· Superior organizational skills
· Experienced with spreadsheets and data entry
· Prior experience in marketing, social media, or press are a plus
· Must be able to commit 20 to 30 hours per week
